Dr. Elyssa Schlossberg, DDS

Dr. Elyssa Schlossberg, DDS is an Angeleno through and through. Born and raised in West Los Angeles, she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology with college honors at UCLA before completing her dental training across town at the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.

“Dr. Elyssa” is dedicated to clinical excellence and a calm, comfortable experience for her patients. Her friendly and gentle nature puts her patients at ease as she provides her high quality of care to her patients. She believes in the importance of providing the best oral health care– which starts with prevention– and in building meaningful patient relationships.

With a passion for education, Dr. Elyssa regularly seeks out continuing education opportunities that keep her vast knowledge of dentistry ever expanding, has taught as a part-time faculty member at USC’s dental school, and is on track to become a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry– a prestigious distinction earned by only 6% of dentists nationwide.

Dr. Schlossberg serves as the Continuing Education Program Coordinator on the board for the West Los Angeles chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Society, and is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, West Los Angeles Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentists. She is also a community member of Sinai Temple and Beth Jacob Congregation.

In her free time, Dr. Elyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, Coby, and with family and friends. Some of her favorite activities include getting out in the sunshine on hikes or at the beach, attending UCLA basketball games, solving escape room puzzles, and playing strategy board games at home.

Laura Kirkland, Hygienist

Laura Kirkland is a dedicated dental hygienist with extensive experience and education, having graduated from both the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of the Pacific (UOP). With a passion for teaching, she served as a clinical instructor in diagnostic sciences at USC, sharing her expertise with the next generation of dental professionals. Her commitment to patient care is evident in her personalized approach, ensuring that all individuals receive the highest standard of dental hygiene. When not treating patients, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her son and exploring the beauty of Southern California. A native of the region, she enjoys frequent visits to the peaceful town of Ojai, embracing the natural surroundings and the relaxed pace of life.

Shelsea Lopez Massella, Hygienist

Shelsea Massella RDH, BSDH, is a born and raised Los Angeleno. She received her first bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, and then continued on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene at West Coast University, while also serving as class president of her cohort. Shelsea has a passion for teaching good oral hygiene and sharing all her knowledge. She prides herself on providing personalized care to each of her patients to ensure they are comfortable and have healthy smiles. She is known for gentle and very thorough care. Outside of the dental office, Shelsea is a passionate weightlifter and outdoors enthusiast. You can often find her backpacking to a mountain summit or hiking to the nearest waterfall.
