Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy
At the office of Dr. Elyssa Schlossberg, we are committed to providing exceptional care and timely access for all of our patients. To help ensure appointment availability and fairness, we have established the following cancellation and no-show policy.
Cancellation & No-Show Fees
- Appointments canceled with less than 48 Business Hours’ notice will be subject to a $95 (Hygiene Appt) or $250 (Dr. Visit) cancellation fee.
- Missed appointments (no-shows) will also incur a $95 (Hygiene Appt) or $250 (Dr. Visit) cancellation fee.
Cancellation and no-show fees are not covered by insurance and will be billed directly to the patient.
Purpose of This Policy
Missed or last-minute canceled appointments prevent other patients from receiving needed care and disrupt our ability to maintain an efficient schedule. We understand that emergencies or sudden illness can arise, and such circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Rescheduling due to illness is encouraged.
We also do our best to send multiple reminder texts and emails to ensure you have ample time to reschedule.
